It all started in 1997 with our sister brand Healthy Trucking of America, Inc. (HTA). HTA began working with long haul professional drivers at that time raising to their attention the need to make better health choices while amending their lifestyle.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, one out of four veterans are truck drivers. That’s roughly ten percent of all truck drivers or 350,000 veteran truck drivers in the US. These veteran truckers not only suffer from the same illnesses as civilian drivers, but also have enhanced side affects due to their time in theater and the various exposures they have had.

We formed Veteran Health Services Group (VHSVG) because the trucker-veterans we council were asking for assistance with VA applications and illnesses such as Obesity, Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Diabetic Retinopathy, Interstitial lung disease (ILD) and numerous other illnesses.
